Editorial Policy

Evidence grading

Every factual claim is graded on a four-level scale:

• 🟢 STRONG — supported by multiple peer-reviewed studies or meta-analyses.
• 🟡 MODERATE — supported by some studies with mixed or limited results.
• 🟠 WEAK — indirect, small-sample, or preliminary evidence only.
• 🔴 ANECDOTAL — user reports and tradition; no controlled studies.

Sourcing

We cite original research with author, year and journal (e.g., "Nigg et al. (2024), JAACAP"). We do not cite content farms.

Language rules

We never use the words "cure", "treat" or "prevent" in relation to any sound. Sound can help, support, or mask — it does not treat medical conditions. This content is educational and is not medical advice.
